Locate the magician card in your deck. The card above it is your hidden talents and abilities. The card below the magician represents what you need to do in order to unlock your hidden talents.

Magician spread to unlock your potential:

Take the magician card out of your deck, then shuffle the remaining cards. Draw 5 cards then place the magician with those 5 cards, shuffle them together. Lay the cards out in two rows of three cards. The row which contains the magician symbolises your talents and skills. The other row represents the steps you will need to take in order to reach your full potential.

Spell:

A simple tarot spell for when you’re in need of some creative inspiration.

Perform this spell on a Wednesday.

Face east, then ground and centre yourself. 

Set the magician card down in front of you.

Place rose petals above the card, rosemary on the bottom, and a sunstone in the centre. 

Etch the word "creativity" onto a candle, then anoint it with bergamot essential oil. Infuse the candle with your intention then light it. 

While the candle is burning, try to clear your mind from all thoughts to allow for creative inspiration to flow through.

An herbal tea blend to strengthen your psychic abilities!

Mugwort - used for psychic development

Yarrow - expands psychic awareness

Grind the ingredients together in a mortar and pestle in a clockwise direction. This helps to activate and empower the herbs for your tea. I used equal amounts of each dried herb, but you can use whatever amount feels right for you. Keep a clear quartz or amethyst crystal in the same jar that you store this tea blend. Drink this tea to strengthen your overall psychic abilities, or before divination, or drink before bed to encourage prophetic dreams.

Manifestation Oil

A manifestation oil blend to boost rituals or spellwork for manifesting all types of magick.

You will need:

- chamomile

- rose petals

- cinnamon

- star anise

- bay leaf

- patchouli essential oil

- grapeseed oil

- a glass bottle with a lid

I like to start by cleansing the area and the magickal ingredients by burning sage.

Chamomile is used in prosperity and abundance spells. Rose petals and star anise both enhance manifestation work. Cinnamon is used for prosperity and is associated with the fire element, which amplifies manifestation magick. Bay leaf is used in wishing spells, and sends your intention out to the universe. Finally, patchouli can be used to turn your desires into reality.

While making this oil it is important to focus on your intent and really put your energy into what you are creating.

Once all the ingredients have been added I shake the bottle 13 times, as the number 13 is connected to manifestation.

I charged this bottle using a 396 hertz tuning fork, and placed the bottle in a crystal grid of clear quartz and citrine.

You could also charge this oil under the full moon.

Inner Peace Spell

A simple candle spell for inner peace.

You will need:

- Lavender

- Vervain

- Angelica root

- Frankincense EO

- Lepidolite

- Clear quartz

- White candle

Perform this spell on a Sunday, or on a new moon. 

Start by burning some sage to cleanse the area of any negative energy.

Etch your initials and a symbol for peace onto your candle, then anoint the candle with frankincense essential oil. Frankincense is a powerful spiritual cleanser that wards away negativity. While you are preparing your candle, really focus on your intent for this spell. Visualise infusing the candle with peaceful calming energy.

Cast a circle around your candle using the herbs. Lavender is associated with peace and tranquility. Vervain calms the emotions and relieves anxiety. Angelica root is used for divine protection and brings inner balance.

Light the candle then hold the lepidolite in your left hand and the clear quartz in your right. Lepidolite brings peace, relieves stress and dispels negative energy. Clear quartz is a healing stone that aligns the chakras and encourages harmony.

Close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing. On each in-breath focus on drawing in positive, healing energy. On each out-breath release any tension and stress that you have inside of you. Think about what makes you feel at peace.

Continue the visualisation for as long as you need. You can say an incantation at this point if you wish, even something as simple as "I am calm and peaceful." Let the candle burn out if you’re using a chime candle. Or use a candle snuffer and re-light it whenever you feel you need to. 

Gather the herbs that you cast around your candle and place them into a sachet along with the lepidolite and quartz. Place the sachet under your pillow when you go to sleep that night.
